Essential Oils

Essential Oils

Essential oils is one type of natures medicine in it’s finest form.
From start to finish Essential Oils are condensed right from the plant so that they are not only pure but in their most potent form. The healing properties are endless, and have been used literally from beginning of time. Essential oils are even referred to in the Bible for their properties in a time that medicines were not readily available or sold over the counter.

The Essential Oils I use daily are: Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint.

When I originally started researching, and using essential oils I was trying to wean myself off of prescription drugs. What I found after hours of research is that the beneficial aspects of using these oils are limitless. For instance, I used lavender and other oil blends to relax at night as a replacement for Xanax and Ambien, perscription drugs that commonly used by millions world wide to sleep. I use Lavender to heal cuts, pimples on my face and I add them in my bubble bath to relax and unwind before bed. Be sure to always consult your doctor however before going off of any routine medication, but if approved try Essential Oils and see how they not only will make you feel but the many other benefits that come with regular use.

Tweetable: “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease”-Thomas A. Edison

Using Essential Oils you will quickly find there are virtually no side effects as they are in nature’s purest form. Again, always check wit your doctor because anything new can cause reactions to medicine you currently take. Knowing their benefits first hand is what makes me all the more eager to share this knowledge with you.

There are 3 main ways to use Essential Oil:
Aromatically
Topically
Internally

Aromatically, you can use a diffuser or just rub them in your hands and smell them as another form of Aromatherapy.

Topically, put your choice of oil on your wrist, behind your ears, and other trigger points. Doing so lets them go right into your bloodstream making the effective properties work almost immediately. You can also put them on your chest, the bottom of your feet, your temples, really anywhere on your body where you feel comfortable as long as you are careful not to put your choice of oil near your eyes. Some oils recommend that you dilute them before applying to skin. Olive oil is my favorite.

If you choose to take internally you can ingest certain oils by adding them to water or even buy gel caps to swallow them but, be careful to select the right oils for this method such as Lemon, Grapefruit, Cloves and Cinnamon bark. I add lemon to my water daily for flavor and detox benefits.

There are so many wonderful oils on the market today that you choices are endless. You can basically replace your entire medicine cabinet and cleaning supplies with essential oils as I have.

By using these oils you can:
promotes relaxation and sleep
Boost immune system
Eliminate acne
Heal cuts

And, like in my case, even wean yourself off of prescription drugs
